Abstract:

Fever of Unknown Origin (FUO) can be difficult to diagnose, especially if the diagnostic workup is equivocal. We discuss a case of a lymphoma patient in remission who presented with FUO that was missed by normal screening testing. The need of competent clinical reasoning and endoscopic investigations in patient care and diagnostic medicine is highlighted in this instance.
